Today Frank and I arrived in Charlottesville, VA after spending the last two nights visiting a few great friends in Virginia Beach, VA. In VB, we had the opportunity to spend a few hours hiking through First Landing State Park, which is Virginia’s most visited State Park and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. First Landing’s trails take you through beautiful maritime forests, cypress swamps, and beaches making it an amazing location for the first hike of our journey. It also lead to some great photos, including our Basic B beach jumping pic… a must for any group of young ladies ages 12-18.
