We are alive and well checking in from a mountain peak called Rocky Top along the Appalachian Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I’m only getting cell service because we’re literally on top of a mountain – haven’t had service in 2 days. I’m good, but I’m afraid we may be losing Frank. Last night he slept with a knife on his chest because he thought we were being attacked by wild boars… I’ll check in again tomorrow as we will lose service once we start our descent.
